Aperta NSE PTAHigh Pressure Scoring Balloon Catheter
The Aperta NSE PTA was developed to address the clinical challenges associated with the interventional treatment of patients with peripheral arterial disease.
An innovatively designed catheter that concentrates the dilation force via four integrated scoring elements enables more predictable lumen expansion and a lower rate of uncontrolled dissections, especially in calcified lesions.
Focused Force for Calcified Lesions
Low Entry Profile and Flexible Round Tip
- Minimizing the tip profile reduces the gap between catheter and guide wire allowing for improved lesion penetration [1]
Four Triangular-Shaped Scoring Elements
- Longitudinally integrated into the catheter design
- Height: 0.0155" (0.39 mm), positioned 90° apart
- Stabilize the balloon within the lesion during inflation [1]
- Deliver an effective scoring effect through highly concentrated force transmission [2]
High Pressure Scoring Balloon
- Low-compliant balloon platform
- Rated Burst Pressure (RBP) set at 20 atm for diameters ranging from 4 to 6 mm
