Askina® DresSil Border

Adhesive silicone foam dressing with border 

Askina^® DresSil is a multilayer self-adherent soft silicone wound dressing, with border, that provides significant absorption capacity due to its excellent wicking properties. The foam dressing maintains a moist wound environment conducive to natural healing. For low exuding wounds, it can be left in place for up to one week allowing for longer undisturbed wound healing. The soft silicone adhesive layer helps to minimize trauma and pain during dressing changes. 
The soft polyurethane foam conforms to the natural contours of the body making it comfortable to wear, while the waterproof outer layer protects the wound from dirt and bacteria.

Askina^® DresSil Border is indicated for the management of low to moderately exuding wounds as partial to full thickness wounds, for the following wounds;

• Pressure ulcers
• Venous and arterial leg ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• First and second-degree burns

Askina^® DresSil Border may also be used as an aid for the prevention of skin breakdown.
